“Amy’s Spring” is a space that began with the client’s love for inviting guests to her home, brewing coffee with beans she roasted herself, and sitting around the table to share conversations. The client wanted to share her favorite coffee with many people.

Just like in the past when she invited people over to her place to drink coffee and chat, the goal was to create a space that is familiar to both the client and her guests. A kitchen and dining table that are familiar but also desirable. We aimed to create a space that resembles a “still life” painting, where the background serves as a canvas, and the host, guests, and coffee are the main characters. The intention was to design a space that is simple yet warm, a backdrop that allows the essence of sharing coffee and conversations to shine. This is “Amy’s Spring.”

The design of this space focuses on the interaction between the host and the guests, enjoying coffee together, much like a scene from a still life painting. The aim was to create a harmonious blend of a warm atmosphere and a simple background, capturing moments where the kitchen and dining table become the main characters.
